Here are the basic instructions for putting together a "Shadow Box" card, such as this one.
You'll need two pieces of card stock. One colored for the front and one neutral color for the back piece. Cut both pieces to 5-1/2" x 4-1/4"
Place on your Simply Scored Scoring Tool and score both pieces at:
1/2" 1" 4-1/2" 5"
The "window" can be created with punches or dies.
For this example I used the second to the smallest size die from the Labels Collection Framelits and positioned it on the middle section of my colored cardstock.
Hint: To keep the die from moving out of place, cut a strip from the sticky end of a post-it note and hold in place as shown in this picture.
Layer your "Big Shot Sandwich" as follows:
Platform on Tab 2
Standard Cutting Pad
Card Stock
Die
Standard Cutting Pad
Place this piece on top of your neutral piece of card stock to use as your guide to stamp the image you would like to show in the middle part of your window. You may then stamp any other images for that piece if you'd like.
Apply Sticky Strip as shown here:
Fold both pieces and attach to one another.
When flattened this will fit into the medium (5-3/4" x 4-3/9") envelope.
