You'll need material cut into round circles. With the Big Shot and circle dies, it makes it so easy to cut lots of pieces in no time. Just layer several pieces of fabric and run through your machine all at the same time.
For the yoyo's on the sample below, I used the 3" circle die.
Take your needle and thread and sew a running stitch around your piece as shown here:
When you get to the end pull the stitches in to gather toward the middle.
Shape to create your finished piece.
You may leave as is or add an embellishment such as a button or brad in the middle. Below, I used the Vintage Faceted Designer Buttons (127555) to put in the middle of my yoyo's.
