SNEAK PEEK OF THINGS TO COME FROM STAMPIN' UP!

A "SNEAK PEEK" OF ONE OF THE HOSTESS STAMPS

We all love "FREE" don't we?  When you host a Stampin' Up! workshop it makes you entitled to great free merchandise of your choice from our catalog, including the opportunity to choose from "Hostess Only" stamp sets.  So, along with the new upcoming catalog will come new "Hostess Only" stamp sets.  I'm loving the new sets and I believe you will too!

Here's a quick and easy car I've put together using just a couple of the stamps, the flower and "Thank You" greeting from one of the sets.

So yesterday I said that over the next few days I would be sharing demonstrator cards from our swaps in Fiji.  Okay, I lied...  I still will be, but this morning I was playing around with some of our "Sneak Peek" products of items that will be in the new 2013 - 2014 annual catalog.  As demonstrators, it's just another one of those GREAT BENEFITS that we're privileged to.  We get to order NEW PRODUCTS before everyone else!  WoooHooo!

STAMPIN' UP!'S BEST OF 25 YEARS

Card swap anyone?  Card swapping is just one of the fun things Stampin' Up! demonstrator's love to do!  How does it work?  It starts by you making a said number of cards.  Say, 25, all of the same design.  Then you "swap" with other demonstrators and end up with 25 different card designs.  It's a great way to build a collection to either use to send out or to keep as samples to get ideas from or to show off to your own customers, just as I'm doing here.

In the next few days I will be sharing some of the lovely cards I received from the swap we did while in Fiji.  When you see some of these designs I think you'll agree, it's no wonder why these demonstrators are successful at what they do.

This first card was made by Pat Shepherd.  She used the hydrenga stamp, just one of many stamps included in Stampin' Up!'s "Best of 25 Years" sets.  CLICK HERE to see all the "Best of..." sets, up to the month of May, so far.  The hydrenga is from the month of March.

The background paper, Pat used is from the Tea for Two Designer Series Paper (129311) found in the Spring Catalog available to order from only until the end this month.  Ends May 31, 2013.

MY DIGITAL STUDIO TUESDAY (FIJI TIME)

Well, it's officially Wednesday because it's just about 1:00 a.m.  I just missed getting in while it was still Tuesday.  Fiji is actually a day ahead of us, but one thing we learned while we were there was that the locals are so laid back that "time" didn't really matter.  It became a joke that when we would say we would meet somewhere at a certain time we would ask, "Fiji time?"  Which generally meant, oh, maybe about an hour or so later, or just "whenever".  Pretty funny.  It's funny to me because Filipino's have the same way of "telling time".  Yep, "Filipino Time".  Perhaps that's the way they tell time over on the other side of the International Date Line, you think?

I guess this is a good excuse for my posting "My Digital Studio Tuesday" a day late the past few times.

This year is Stampin' Up!'s 25th anniversary and the theme is, "Making a Difference".  Just one of the many things that makes me proud of being a demonstrator with Stampin' Up! is their generosity in always helping and their selfless humanitarianism.  While in Fiji we had the opportunity to be a part of their generosity in being a volunteer team helping at a local hospital.  We helped with maintenance of the grounds including gardening and painting.  Others also helped at a local orphanage.
